My name is Preston Thalindroma, I take photos of drunk people at parties and make them look good, and I’m never a fucking dick about it.
My fascination with taking photos of drunk people started at The Standard rooftop pool deck in downtown Los Angeles in the summer of ’08. Ever since, I’ve always been great with crowds and making a ton of friends, which is why my photos work. I’m more interested in the social and compositional aspects of what I do, rather than putting all my focus into the technical side. I derive much of my photographic inspiration from the cinematography in foreign films and classics. I spend most of my free time playing piano and listening to just about every sub-genre of rock you can possibly think of. I’m probably the nicest fucking asshole you’ll ever meet.
